GreenRoc advances Amitsoq toward pilot scale

Our portfolio company GreenRoc Strategic Materials (AIM: GROC) released an operations update this morning, with a clear step forward at Amitsoq.

The key development is the purchase order for the main purification equipment for GreenRoc’s Active Anode Materials pilot plant. Purification is a critical stage in producing battery grade anode material, so scaling an HF free route and moving into pilot scale operation is an important de risking milestone.

In parallel, a 300 kg representative sample from the 18.3 tonne underground bulk sample is heading to SGS Lakefield for processing testwork, supporting process optimisation and future project studies. GreenRoc will also be at PDAC next week and has been accepted into ECGA.
