Clogau Blast Update: 12.4m Total Advance on Level 5

These images show more than a single blast. They capture the development cycle underground at Clogau: the face prepared and tied in for firing, followed by post-blast re-entry, scaling, inspection and review of the newly exposed ground.

The latest round of blasting this week delivered 1.5m of advance, bringing total advance on Level 5 to 12.4m.

Several of the images also show the geology now exposed at the face, including quartz vein-rich zones against darker host rock.

Geology fact: in gold systems like Clogau, every newly exposed face adds to the geological picture, helping the team map structures and better understand the gold-bearing mineralisation underground.
