Safety First at Clogau

Safety and environmental compliance has guided our work at Clogau from day one. In late 2025, we implemented the UK Mines Inspector’s recommendations and completed further safety upgrade works to support modern underground operations. 

This has included practical improvements such as shaft enclosures and safety gates, an underground drone survey of accessible workings, and systematic checks of key plant and equipment. These steps are designed to ensure a controlled, well-managed working environment as activities progress. 

With this foundation in place, the team has moved through the full underground cycle: clearing and face preparation, mucking out, and controlled blasting, supported by routine maintenance to keep access and services working effectively. Operational updates will continue to be shared in line with AIM disclosure requirements. 

Next steps: Safety remains embedded in every stage of the bulk sampling programme, including controlled entry, documented procedures and ongoing monitoring. Our updates will focus on steady progress underground, alongside continued respect for the surrounding environment.
