Rare earth elements are essential for technologies that power the modern world, from EV motors to wind-turbine magnets.
In this article, we take a brief look at what makes REEs strategically important, how they occur in nature, and where Alba encounters them within the Motzfeldt intrusive centre in South Greenland.

Our work combines field data, bulk-sample analysis and academic collaboration with the University of St Andrews, supported by published research from Dr Curtis Rooks. This ensures independent scientific rigour and strengthens the technical foundation of the project.
