Understanding Drill Results Without the Hype

Drill results are a vital part of mineral exploration and one of the main drivers of project progress. Drill core provides direct information at depth on rock types, alteration, structures and mineral associations, helping to test specific geological ideas and refine models.
Context is everything. A single high grade intercept can grab headlines, but investors should look beyond the headline. Key questions include: is the grade over a meaningful width and depth, is it part of a consistent pattern, and do nearby holes support continuity. Reported intervals can also be influenced by internal variability. For example, 0.5 m of very high grade within an 8 m section is notable, but it is not the same as 8 m of uniformly high grade. This is why we report drilling with full detail and interpret results within their geological setting.
For rare earth projects in particular, drill and assay results are best understood alongside mineralogical and metallurgical work, because the mineral hosts and textures can strongly influence how the system is interpreted and how future work is designed.
